A beachside gem

Leeann and Warwick made our family of six feel very welcome and were exceptional hosts. The beachside property meant we got to see leaping fish, passing boats, and golden light across the harbour. The kids were a bit shocked to learn the internet wasn’t as good as they’re used to, but this meant more games and family time, not to mention the kayaks, paddle boards, and bikes. Where else can you easily paddle out to an island? We had driven through Whangarei countless times, but this was the first time we explored this magical part of NZ. We will definitely be back.
