We regularly visit family in Whangarei and since finding Harbour Apartments about seven years back, wouldn't stay anywhere else. The three apartments are all beautifully furnished and well appointed with each having their own charms - they all vary in size so there's something to suit most needs and budgets. You'll find everything you need and more, Leeann is an amazing host who goes out of her way to make your stay great and has thoughtfully provided many little often-overlooked touches. We love the setting which is just so quiet and peaceful with ever-changing, stunning views of the harbour and Whangarei Heads, and the huge variety of birdlife. Close to the airport, just a few mins drive to the supermarket and other essentials at Onerahi, and not much further into Whangarei town centre with it's vibrant waterfront precinct and walks. Many incredible surf beaches out at the Whangarei Heads are a leisurely harbour-side drive away too. Top pick!
