We visited New Zealand for the first time, to see our Son who was playing football for Northland. Not knowing where to stay was quite daunting but how lucky we were to find Leeann and the beautiful property at the Harbour Apartments in Onerahi. Booking a couple of nights, turned into over a week of pure bliss. The location is superb, the apartment is huge, comfortable and the views when lying in bed to die for. Nothing was too much trouble for Leeann, always on hand but never to be seen, so privacy was wonderful. So accessible to all areas, with walks from the door. Parking, with a hire car was an added bonus. Cannot recommend this property for a stay highly enough.

What a wonderful stay!We stayed for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. Stunning views and such a quiet, peaceful spot. We were very lucky with the weather and even with a chill in the air we were so so cosy in the apartment. Leeann is so helpful and communicative and has thought of everything, all you need is there and you can really see the love and care that has gone into this place with the high-quality contents. The bed was exceptionally comfy, we loved the hot tub and barbecue, and all the extra touches such as the robes just made it extra special, such a treat! 100% recommend and would return again.

My husband, myself and two of our sons booked the Harbour Apartment for 4 nights in January 2025. We were in the upstairs apartment with fantastic water views. There are water views across the entire length of the of the house including primary bedroom, lounge, dining room, kitchen another sitting room, and a deck stretching the length of the house. The host met us and showed us around. It was meticulously presented and clean throughout. I facetimed family while we were there and they thought it looked like a 5 star hotel. There is plenty of space and it is fully equipped with everything you need as well as kayak's and bikes. The jetty is right across the road and a supermarket and takeaways a short drive away. The beds were super comfortable and I honestly the four best nights sleep I have had in years! The host was available if needed but everything was perfect. There is a ground floor apartment which can be booked on its own or opened up as a whole for larger groups. It is an easy drive from Auckland with plenty to see on the way (Waipu Cove and Ruakaka). We would definitely return in the future!
